Italian Club: NYC Field Trip

Danielle Francis, Reporter

On Friday the 18th, members of the Italian club went on a trip to New York City. After a long bus ride and a couple rest stops we saw the beautiful sites New York had to offer.  We started on a quick boat ride heading to Liberty Island. We saw the iconic Statue of Liberty, and we got to explore all of the parts of this great monumental place. After another great boat ride, we saw the historic, Ellis Island. We got to see all the names carved into the walls, we searched for our last names many of us were surprised when we saw most of ours where there.

After going through the museum, we took the bus to Rockefeller Center. We were allowed to split up with our groups and chaperons and go to a couple stores, this gave us a feel of New York.
