On Wednesday, April 10, as 10th and 11th grade students are given the PSAT and SAT exams respectively, 9th and 12th grade students will not be left to their own devices. Instead, the school has arranged for a number of local business owners and professionals to offer various activities and guest speaking sessions to help students consider possible career paths.
Dubbed “Career Day” for freshmen and seniors, these sessions will go on from 8:30 to 10:30 on the first floor for senior students and in the gymnasiums for freshmen students.
Among the topics being offered are cosmetology, law enforcement, restaurant management, health care, and cyber security.
