FBLA Visits New York

On April 17th, the FBLA club (Future Business Leaders of America) as well as other students of Mrs. Hurley and Mrs. Hilton went on the annual trip to New York City.

The students took a tour of Wall Street and explored Time Square. “It was a lot of fun and a good experience. I hope to go on it next year as well,” said Juliana Pineda, a junior on the trip.

On the 90 minute tour the group split in two and learned about the history of Wall Street. Students visited numerous buildings such as the New York Stock Exchange and the Freedom Tower, as well as Ground Zero. One tour guide also talked about the stock market and showed her group famous, expensive restaurants where people would have business meetings such as Delmonico’s. The two groups then reunited and went to Time Square. There, the students were free to shop and sight-see for about 3 hours until the field trip wrapped up and students boarded the bus to go home.
