When the TV finally turned on, there was complete silence until a minute later when the TV blasted into a giant messy noise. The chorus sang and everyone cheered. Then the banter of the upperclassmen could be heard through the television speakers. The Spirit Week winners were then announced and of course all the freshman in my class didn’t care like any other freshman stuck in class at this time.

I personally wish that the rest of the freshman class could have been in the auditorium instead where we could have watched the pep rally on a bigger screen. Many students in class spent their time talking or complaining. From this freshmen’s point of view it was just time to waste.
