After a difficult first few weeks due to cold weather conditions, the Boys and Girls track team has finally been able to enter the season with full confidence and force. Out of the eleven meets competed this season, the boys have won eight and lost three. The team’s strongest wins have been as a result of the participants in the 100 meter dash, the 4 by 100 relay, and the 4 by 400 relay. The girls have won three and lost eight; the strongest races for the girls have been the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and the 4 by 100 relay. With only two weeks until the Freshman State Championship and one month until the Division Championships, the team’s hard work is not yet finished. “I’m proud of the hard work and success of this team this season,” said assistant coach, Ian Hillman. The next dual meet will be Monday, May 11th, at Ponaganset High School
