This year, the Math Club hosted the annual Puzzle Day on Friday, April 17th 2015 in the school’s library. Students and teachers all over the building were able to get out of their math classes and spend a whole period solving a variety of puzzles. Today the top single and pair who completed the most puzzles each period will receive a prize.
The event advisor for the Math Club’s Puzzle Day was Mrs. Branco, but unfortunately she was not able to attend this year. Despite the circumstances, the event went on great with the Math Club President, Ariana Dickie, other student officers, and Mrs. Paesano’s assistance, to hosted such an excellent event as well.
According to Ariana, she states that “Puzzle Day was definitely a success. I am so grateful to all the Math Club members who helped out and made the event run so smoothly. This year was different from last year mainly because Mrs. Branco was not here, so I had an experience unlike officers of past years have had. Luckily for me, Mrs. Branco was a great help with making sure all of the prep work was done, and Mrs. Paesano stayed the day with us to help in any way she needed to.“
The Math Club members had a fun time participating in this event and students had just as much time attending the event. What a fun way to end the week!
