With millions upon millions being put out of work, people have been clinging to their screens for ways to pass the time. Because there are no sports on TV, performers have been stepping up and supplying their fans with some quality performances. Broadway actors, singers, dancers, and even rappers have been livestreaming on media outlets like Facebook Live, YouTube Livestream, and Instagram Live for absolutely no cost.

Tony, and Grammy-winning theater and film polymath best known for Broadway’s Hamilton and In the Heights, Lin Manuel Miranda, and American actor and filmmaker, John Krasinski, surprised a nine-year-old Hamilton fan via online video chat. Krasinski brought together the original Broadway cast of Hamilton, to sing the opening number of the show to a young fan who missed out on seeing the show in New York in March. Miranda and Krasinski’s collaboration in this difficult time is exactly what the world needs in a time like this. You can see the performance here
