NPHS drama has collaborated with Big Nazo, a truly spectacular puppet company that operates out of Providence, to make our Audrey II puppets come to life. Big Nazo creates a variety of foam puppets, characters, and artistic displays. Some even being commissioned for musicals such as Little Shop of Horrors. Throughout Little Shop of Horrors, there are four distinct puppets used to portray the growth of Audrey II; a baby plant in a can, a larger potted plant, and two plants big enough to eat people. While the smaller plants also need to be puppeteered, these last two of these puppets require a puppeteer to sit inside the puppet to make the magic happen. This collaboration has allowed Big Nazo to creatively revamp existing puppets of Audrey II they had already built as well as made it possible for NPHS drama to put on such a fantastic musical performance.
