A high school senior named Abigail Jackson turned her senior project into a fun gala for people living in nursing homes that can’t usually go out. Abigail got the idea after seeing how many residents don’t get chances to dress up and attend events. Residents came dressed up and excited to be there. Abby spent months planning the event and working with nursing homes to make sure everyone could come safely. With student volunteers, a great group of people, and good food, the event became a night to remember.
