This Wednesday, the cougar chorus, concert choir and concert band performed their lovely pieces that will be carried out in front of the judges. As someone in the band, it is definitely a pressuring time before the festival but once you’re on the stage and performing, it’s smooth sailing from there. Many people feel nervous when they first get on the stage and have to perform a tricky solo, but as the years have gone by, I realized that the feeling you get when you’re on the bus ride there, is the same one you get on stage. You’re with your friends and you’re going to have a great time. So to anyone who is nervous about going to festival this year, you’re going to do great!
