Our NPHS Chorus and Concert Choir traveled to Ponaganset High School to participate in the RI American Choral Director’s Association choral festival. This festival is a chance for students to showcase their talent among different chorus’s and choir’s all over the state. The festival assigns ratings of bronze, silver, or gold to each performing group based on the rubric scores from three judges. While it is note a competition, the ratings provide feedback on your groups performance. Bronze being developing, silver is meeting expectations of excellence, and gold being superior, exceeding expectations. Our concert choir received a silver rating and our chorus received a gold!
Overall, these awards reflect the NPHS Chorus and Concert Choir’s hardwork and talent, earning them a well deserved recognition.
