The Future Business Leaders of America club (FBLA) ran the Fill-A-Truck fundraiser on October 25^th at the Homecoming Game to raise food for less fortunate families by collecting non-perishable foods.

For over an hour, FBLA members collected food by the entrance to the football field. If students brought two or more non-perishable foods, they were given free admission to the game.

“It was extremely successful.” said Mrs. Hurley and Mrs. Hilton, who run FBLA and organized the fundraiser. The food, which was enough to overflow four crates and several plastic bags, was then given to Stephen Olney School to be distributed to local families in need. The FBLA club will be running another Fill-a-Truck fundraiser at the basketball game on December 19th.
