April vacation is twelve days long, and while you could spend this time inside, there are several fun activities you can do in New England.  Here are the top activities to do while enjoying the break!

1. Mulligan’s Island – Cranston, RI

Mulligan’s Island is a great place to go during Spring break. It’s accessible for anyone of all ages, and it is fun for everyone. While Mulligan’s Island has several different types of activities, mini golfing is by far the most popular. For Juniors (ages 3 to 1o years old), it is $9. For Adults (ages 11 to 64 years old), it is $14 to mini golf.

2. Seekonk Grand Prix – Seekonk, MA

While there are many local go-karting locations, Seekonk Grand Prix is one of the best ones in New England because of all of the fun tracks they have to offer! The prices depend on which track you want to do, but for a power day pass, it is $64.95 per person.

3. Roger Williams Park Zoo – Providence, RI

The zoo will always be the perfect place to go during any break, no matter how old you are. Roger Williams Park Zoo is not only nostalgic, but it also never gets old. Anyone could go there, and it would be fun every time. There are several upcoming events that are geared towards younger kids, such as Dinosaurs Among Us, which is running from April 7th through August 13th.

4. RISD Museum – Providence, RI

RISD Museum not only teaches us about our local communities, but it is also a great place to go if you’re feeling creative. The museum features some of the most unique artwork, with equally important meanings behind them. Each exhibit is different in its own way, which is why RISD Museum is one of the best places to go during break. For admission, anyone under 18 is free. For an adult, it’s $16.

5. Imperial Ceramics – Warwick, RI

Painting pottery is a fun activity. Whether it be with friends, or even with your family, it’s enjoyable. At Imperial Ceramics, you can pick the piece of pottery that you want to paint. Each piece is unique, and you will always find a ceramic that is best for you. For 1 hour of studio time, the price is $10. Each hour, this price increases by $4.

6. Mystic Aquarium – Mystic, CT

Just like the zoo, aquariums are another perfect place to go during any break. Mystic Aquarium, located in Mystic, Conneticut, offers some of the most unique marine wildlife. The entrance fee is $35.00 at the gate for an adult (14-61). For a child (3-12), the fee is $25.00.
