Werewolf by Night is a Halloween special for Marvel. It features the Marvel character Jack Russel, also known as the Werewolf by Night, played by Gael García Bernal. It also features the character Elsa Bloodstone played by Laura Donnelly, a Marvel character known as a prominent monster hunter. This is highly experimental for Marvel as this is their first-holiday special. They also tried new things with Werewolf by Night, such as filming it in black and white. Marvel strays farther from the more family-friendly aspects, as they show a decent amount of blood and gore during the fight scenes. Overall, this was something Marvel needed to contrast the more positive aspects of the MCU right now. It was incredibly entertaining, well-paced, and had great fights. Overall, it is one of the better Marvel projects this year, and I rate it 9 out of 10.
