AP exams, something that has dreaded most high schoolers at the junior and senior level. These exams will give these a students a chance to prove themselves on all of the hard work and effort they had put into to do well on this exam. While studying and preparing in advance may be one of the main things to do, it’s not the only thing that students do to ensure that excel well for this test. As the week for exams are approaching, here are just 3 tips that I think would be beneficial to ensure you can do well on this exam!

1. Getting a Good Nights Rest

I know what you are thinking, really? Sleep is suppose to help me do well on the exam. You might of heard this tip from from teachers plenty of times before, and I’m sure you didn’t listen. Trust me, this works. If you ever think stay up late at night just get in some last minute information from studying, don’t. Staying up so late won’t do you any good as it will most likely will make focus less on the test and will affect your emotions. So it is best that you go to bed as early as possible.

2. Answer Questions That You Know!

I know the urge to answer every single question is very important, but lets be honest, that is only going to waste more time than you think. Answer questions that you know and understand and if there is enough time, then you can always go back and answer the questions you didn’t get to do. This saves you a lot more time left to finish and check your answers on the exam.

3. Eating Breakfast and Drinking Water (Day of the exam).

Sounds a little silly, but trust me it’s important. Not having breakfast will affect how will do on the exam, such as your focus and your thinking. So make you have a bite to eat before you take your exam. As for water, keep yourself hydrated. It’s important that if you do drink it, your focus will so much better compare to if you actually don’t drink any water whatsoever.

There are plenty of other tips out there that you might of heard from family, friends, teachers, or classmates. No matter what tips and tricks are being thrown at you, utilized them as much as you can. Good luck to anyone taking AP exams, wether that be on paper or digital. Hope everyone does well!
