Mother nature has done it again. New England is known for its constantly changing weather, and Rhode Islanders have seen the weather shift from rain, to sleet, to sunshine, all within an hour before. But one thing that is rarely seen is snow as early as October 30th!

Today, October 30th, Rhode Island saw 1 to 2.5 inches of snowfall starting around 6 AM and expected to turn to rain at approximately 3 PM. RI usually see’s its first sight of winter in snowflake form in mid to late November and early December.
