5 Ways to Avoid the Flu

As we reach the peak of the Flu Season, it is important to know what you can do to avoid becoming sick. I was able to interview Mrs. Bonner, our school nurse, to find out what she thought was the best way to stay healthy. She gave me five, helpful tips that will lower your chances of catching the cold or flu: 


  1. Getting Your Flu Shot. 
  2. Wash your hands for at least 25 seconds while scrubbing.
  3. Do Not share food or drinks with anyone.
  4. Cough and Sneeze into your elbow. 
  5. If you are sick Stay Home.


    With these five, easy-to-follow tips, hopefully we can all stay cold and flu free this winter!
