Juniors Adrianna Gianquitti and Heaven Perez recently participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) annual Student of the Year fundraising Campaign. They composed one of the eight total candidate teams in the LLS’s 2019 Campaign.  The mission of the LLS is to find cures for blood cancer in addition to helping victims of the disease. As the junior girls have both witnessed family members battle the disease, they felt passionate in their service. Though their goal to fundraise $50,000 by February 23rd was not reached, Gianquitti and Perez raised close to $3,000 which remains a considerable feat!
