A huge congratulations to Mr. Gianfrancesco on winning the Golden Apple Award, given out by NBC 10 news! The Golden Apple Award is given to teachers whose leadership and excellence exceed expectations. This most honorable award was given to English teacher Michael Gianfrancesco. Upon teaching English, he also advises the NPHS Nerd Herd and Newspaper. Greeting him in the library were his family members, and students whose lives he has touched. Ian Jacob, an alumni at NPHS, nominated Mr. Gianfrancesco for this award. Jacob was reunited with him for this special day. Overall, he is well deserving of this award, which reflects how hard he has worked over the years to better the lives of his students.
