The North Providence High School Cougar football team played yesterday in a surprising 20-27 loss to Pilgrim High School. This happened after Pilgrim had rallied from an early lead by the Cougars. Spectacular performances were seen by the North Providence High School cheer team, dance team, and pep band. Despite the loss, each person seemed to have fun representing NPHS in their blue and gold gear. During halftime, the crowd went wild when Alejandra Murillo and Paul Diogenes were named the 2018 homecoming king and queen. They both excitedly accepted their crowns and sashes on the field. Overall, another successful homecoming game has developed out for this 2018-2019 school year. Go Cougars!
