The beginning of the school year is the prime time to set goals for yourself and improve upon numerous skills. The Cougar Cheer and Dance teams are already making their improvements; the cheerleaders purchased new uniforms this year, and both teams are training hard. In March, the cheer team will be competing in several competitions such as RICCA, States, and Invitationals. According to Coach Nassi, they of course “hope to win!” With that being said, good luck cheerleaders on behalf of the Cougar Courier!

Though the cheer captains have not been chosen yet, the team has five dedicated seniors: Isabella Atkinson, Victoria D’Errico, Amara Gibau, Matt Cook, and Jorge Orellana. As for the dance team, this year’s captains are Jenna Balasco and Madison Charello.
