NPHS Band Plays at the Providence Bruins Game

Katie Henry, Writer

Everyone experienced a fun time on Sunday, March 5th at the Providence Bruins hockey game. The crowd’s exceptional team spirit led the PBruins to victory against their opponent, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The NPHS Band played some pep music favorites during the intermissions which added to the audience’s enthusiasm. In addition, senior Andrew Costa, a student at NPHS, received the Hobey Baker Award for his outstanding teamwork, acedemic achievement, and commitment to the sport of hockey. Every year, one hockey player from each participating high school is chosen by their coach to receive this meaningful award. Congrats Andrew, and great job Cougar Band!
