Teachers’ Most Memorable Horror Films

Halloween is one of the most beloved holidays and everyone has there own way of celebrating.

While kids are out trick-or-treating some people like to stay in and watch horror movies. Some more than others!

Here are some teachers most memorable horror Movies.

 

Ms. DeAngelis’ favorite horror movie is “Psycho” because it is not only a classic but she loved it watching it in her Film Noir Class in college

Ms. Capaldi-Moore says that her favorite movie is “Pet Sematary” because she loved the book and that the movie did it justice.

Ms. Marsland had a hard time choosing between “ATM’ or “Saw”. She finds these movies terrifying by the way the characters are helpless, there is no way out of the situation, and how the movies are presented.

Mrs. Hurley said “I do not watch horror movies, my life is scary enough”

Mr. Ramos said his favorite horror move would be “Thinner”. This movie terrified him as a child and still hasn’t watched it  since he was seven and that he doesn’t remember the ending.

But, some teachers remember horror movies not because it is their favorite or they love them it is out of fear of horror.

Mrs. Caffrey says “The Exorcist” Is the most horrifying movie she knows because exorcisms happen in real life.

Mrs. Thomas says that the scariest movie she has seen is “Candyman”. “I didn’t last five minutes in the theater”

And of course I saved the most horrifying movie for last said by Mr. Ryan.

The most terrifying movie he has ever seen is “High School Musical”

I don not blame him I wake up from nightmares just because of this movie. It will always haunt me.

And from the Guru of Movies herself, Ms. Pasonelli, she says ONE of the best movies horror movies she has seen is “El Orfanato”. Ms. Pasonelli says it is one of the best horror movie endings out there and also states something we can all learn from “Never Judge a horror movie by it’s ending”
