On April 9th, the Medical Career Day took place in the NPHS library. This expo informed the students attending on different careers relating to the medical field.  Students could sign up in the guidance office the week leading up to the event.  Selected classes were also invited to attend the expo.

The career day involved organizations such as Rhode Island College and Lifespan. Representatives of each organization set up tables in the library in which students could learn more about a different areas of medicine. Physiology, business in medicine, and digital medicine were some of the tables set up. One activity that the students could participate in was a personality test. After taking the test, the color in which they were most related to gave them an idea of what kind of person they are and which health careers that they may excel in.

Overall, the expo gave students that were interested in medicine a better understanding of what it took to have a career in that field.
