On March 22nd, students went on a field trip to the New England Institute of Technology. Organized by Mr. Curtis, Mrs. Carosi, and Ms. DiNoble students signed up for different workshops and viewed different stands at the Health Expo.

When arriving at the East Greenwich campus, students were given folders with their schedules for the day. Each student was given three workshops that they signed up for prior to the field trip. Students were also assigned a time slot to roam around the second floor of the building and view the different stands. Companies and schools set up informational stands and handed out free pens, pamphlets, and other items to students.

During the workshops, students met with workers or professors of specific fields. Some, presented information through lectures while other workshops were more hands on such as the Respiratory Care workshop. In the Respiratory Care workshop, students practiced administering oxygen to lifelike, practice dummies.

After the Health Expo, the group went to the Warwick Mall for lunch until finally returning to the high school near the end of the day. Upon returning, students then filled out a survey of the Expo and then returned to their classes.
