News Reporter Alison Bologna, visits the North Providence High School

On Friday, February 19th, a news reporter named Alison Bologna came to North Providence High School. She spoke to the the journalism and media studies students and the members of the newspaper club. She told the students her schedule and how she gets ready broadcasting live. She explained  the process of getting an article and when reporting live, she is given an story to speak about.

A specific project that Alison Bologna worked on, named Pay it Forward, which means to do a good deed for someone and the person does the same to others. Pay it Forward helped increase their viewership and it’s a positive look for the news. This is a wonderful project to help doing good.

Alison Bologna said that in a day like today, a lead story is about crimes. In the upcoming future Alison Bologna invited the students to the broadcasting news station.
