The Lady Cougars tipped off the 2015-2016 season. With losing a lot of seniors, it was going to be a transitional year for North Providence. With captains, senior Nicole Lussier and junior Sierra Stweart leading the team, the Cougars come into the season hopeful. In their first 10 games, they have unfortunately lost 8 out of 10, with 7 being league games. The only 2 victories for the Cougars were a non-league match-up against Tolman and a close 50-45 win against Division II foe Woonsocket. The Lady Cougars looks to improve their record and charge on as they travel to Lincoln on Thursday and face the Lions at 7. The Lady Lions are currently 4th in Division II North as the Lady Cougars are in 9th.
