Recently Christmas has been set above all other holidays in the eyes of the American. Prior to Thanksgiving, there were more decorations for Christmas than there were for Thanksgiving. Christmas may be more commercially successful than Thanksgiving but should it be more important than Thanksgiving if it’s a national holiday and Christmas is a religious one. Why are so many obsessed with Christmas above all other holidays? The Hallmark Channel shows Christmas movies year-round which is just insane. In addition, ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas have movies that have nothing to do with Christmas like “The Incredibles”, “Wreck-it Ralph”, and “Tarzan.” Stores have been pushing Christmas decorations and treats since Halloween. Normally, it would be a lot more reasonable to commence the holiday havoc a week before the event occurs. This craze differs throughout the eyes of each person but is always the  same when it is used for economical purposes.
