On Thursday, May 18th the preliminary round for the annual Nerdbowl is being held in room 225 right after school.  However, this year the Nerdbowl will not only have the standard trivia, but a collection of events to test the true nerdiness of an individual.  As a result of the multiple events being included, the Nerdbowl has been reborn as the Nerdathalon.

The Nerdathalon events include a fictional language translator challenge, a speed run of World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros, a drawing contest, a dancing competition, a Pokeball toss, Yu-Gi-Oh! duel with provided micro-decks, nerd trivia, timed crosswords, and movie quote recognition.  Each of these events will earn participants between one and five points.  The five people with the most points will return the following week for a final round.  To all those participating, good luck and have fun.
