On Thursday, April 27th NPHS held its Unified Basketball Game, a unique collaboration between the Interscholastic League and the Special Olympics. The game showcases the students’ talents and is played during school hours so that a large percent of students can come to see the game, something they may not have been able to do after school. This allows students to be active participants in the audience providing an opportunity for the athletes and partners to focus on the students’ abilities and not their disabilities.

The game is organized by coaches Mrs. Hilton, Mrs. Fishback and Mr. Curtis with the approval of administration.
