North Providence High School’s Spirit Week is approaching quickly. Dress up and show your school spirit the week of October 14-17. This year, we are introducing some new and exciting themes, while also keeping some classics.
Tuesday 10/14 – Greek VS. Geek
Greek – Dress like you belong in a fraternity or sorority. Match with your friends, create your own Greek life or be inspired by an existing one.
OR
Geek – Dress like a smart, nerdy, awkward person with intellect and interests.
Wednesday 10/15– Generations Day
Dress as your grade’s assigned generation. How can you represent different ages in creative ways?
Freshmen – Babies
Sophomores – Children
Juniors – Adults
Seniors – Elderly
Thursday 10/16 – Class Colors
Come to school decked out in your grade’s class color. Don’t forget to wear your spirit week tee shirts!
Freshmen – Gold
Sophomores – Blue
Juniors – White
Seniors – Black
Friday 10/17 – Cougar Spirit Day
Show your school sprit by wearing blue and gold.
Spirit Week is also filled with fun after school events.
Spirit Night is on Thursday, October 16 from 6-8p.m. in the NPHS gymnasium. Compete against schoolmates in fun games and challenges to see which class comes out on top. Represent your class by wearing your class tee shirt.
The Homecoming Football Game will be on Friday, October 17th at 6pm. The Cougar football team will take on Chariho and the homecoming court presentation will take place during halftime.
The Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday October 18th from 7-9 p.m. in the NPHS cafeteria. Dress up, dance, and have fun at our first dance of the school year!
Make the most of Spirit Week and Homecoming season by participating in as many events as you can. These events can create memories that last a lifetime.
