The Cougars football team delivered an amazing performance this past Saturday at their game against Central Falls High School, earning an impressive 24-7 win! From the very first play, the Cougars set the tone for the game, moving the ball quickly down the field with sharp passes and strong runs. The offense wasted no time trying their hardest to put points on the board, the first touchdown had not only the fans but the cheerleaders very happy and that carried throughout the entire game. The defense was just as dominant. Time and time again they stopped Central Falls, forcing turnovers and keeping them from gaining any momentum. By halftime the Cougars held a lead thanks to the smart play calling, tough blocking, and the team’s ability to work together as one. The second half brought more excitement with big plays on both sides and a final touchdown that sealed the victory. The Cougars didn’t just add a “W” to their record it also showed the team’s hard work at practice is paying off. Fans left the stadium excited, already looking forward to the next home game which will be our HOMECOMING GAME!!!
