As the class of 2025 is nearing the day of our graduation, I would like to say goodbye to this year’s high school seniors and the teachers that have been working alongside us for the past four years. From the very first day of our freshman year, becoming acquainted with those we had never batted an eye at before or leaving those we had known during middle school, we now leave our senior year changed. Every passing year was a new representation of our individual selves: we meet new teachers to improve our academic growth, new friends that brighten our smiles, new influences that change how we are perceived, and much more. To leave this year is to start anew, just as we started as freshman. I now say good luck to all and their aspirations for the future.
To the teachers that have worked selflessly in challenging students to do their best and achieve more, I thank you. It is because of your passion in teaching and connection to the class of 2025 that not only will you be remembered, but receive a warm smile from all students who have benefited from your job. To not only speak for the class of 2025, I thank you personally, as I would not be where I am today without the dedication you inspired me to achieve. From my Spanish teacher in freshman year to my Engineering teacher senior year, every lecture and after-class discussion is what I will remember as I continue my academic journey.
Thank you.
