First and foremost CONGRATULATIONS!! It has been an honor to work with you during your time at North Providence High School. I am very proud of you and what you have accomplished in your four years at North Providence High School. You have grown into a remarkable group of young men and women and I am so happy to have been a part of this exciting and rewarding journey with you.
As students in the PTech program, you have taken college classes at CCRI, twelve of you have become certified CNAs, twenty one of you are working towards becoming EMTs, and fifteen of you have graduated from CCRI with your Associate’s Degree. This is amazing!
As students in the Marine Trades program, you have received your safe boaters license, you are OSHA certified, you had many opportunities to attend off site visits with Electric Boat and other partner companies in the industry and you have participated in multiple NPHS Launch Days.
May you reflect on your high school years as you move confidently into your bright future. In the words of Henry David Thoreau, “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you have imagined.” As you continue to grow and learn as adults, you will find life is filled with unexpected adventures. As your future unfolds and you are faced with new experiences and challenges, keep your head high and never give up. Remember, the road towards success is a rough one, but hard work and determination will make your journey easy.
Thank you for the memories and Best of Luck in your future endeavors.
