Earth Day: Tuesday, April 22 (A global holiday that started April 22, 1970, advocating for support in environmental protection)
Cinco de Mayo: Monday, May 5 (Commemorates the Mexican army’s victory at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 over the French, but has become a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage)
Mother’s Day: Sunday, May 11 (A day celebrating moms and motherhood)
Memorial Day: Monday, May 26 (A day to honor and mourn fallen U.S. military personnel that died while serving in our Armed Forces, it is always observed the last Monday of May)
Eid al-Adha: Saturday, June 7 (Commemorates Abraham and his willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to a command from God, it is the second of two main festivals in Islam, with the first being Eid al-Fitr)
