Last weekend, 2/28-3/1, the NPHS Wrestling team traveled to the PCTA to compete in the RIIL Wrestling State Championships. Just a week before, the team competed at the Red/Green Qualifier to secure their individual spots at the state tournament. With an outstanding 11 boys and seven girls who qualified, the team left the tournament with 7/7 girls placing, including two girl state champions, and four boys placing, including one state champion. As a team, the girls placed 2nd in the state, leaving the facility with a plaque, and the boys placed 7th. Placers include:
