There’s many haunted houses in Rhode Island that have just recently opened up, such as The Haunted Labyrinth, Scary Acres, 13th World, and much more! 2. Walk Through the Illuminating Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo
Do you love jack-o-lanterns? Pretty lights? Walk through the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo! Thousands of artistically carved pumpkins illuminate the night during the walk-through. There’s even jack-o-lanterns with movie and show characters, celebrities, and music artists!
3. Pick a Pumpkin
There are many things to do with a pumpkin. You could carve a funny face into it, paint it, cook with it, and a lot more! There’s lots of pumpkin patches in Rhode Island, such as Escobar Farm, Adam’s Farm, Salisbury Farm. By going to any of these patches, you’ll find the perfect pumpkin!
4. Go Through a Corn Maze
Looking to go through a corn maze? There are some really cool ones in Rhode Island! You could visit Salisbury Farm’s corn maze, Escobar Farm, or even Scary Acres Haunted Corn Maze! If you are going to a scary corn maze, definitely bring a friend and hold on to each other so you don’t get lost.
5. Fall Festivals
There’s nothing better than food and fall activities all in one place! There are quite a few cool fall festivals here in Rhode Island. You could go to the Fall Fest at Butterfly Farm in Lincoln where you’ll find vendors, a pumpkin patch, tree tagging, food trucks, hay rides, and more! This festival is taking place through October 7th to the 22nd. Another great festival nearby is the Manfredi Farms Harvest Fest in Westerly. Pumpkins, hayrides, barrel train rides, a petting zoo, food, and shopping vendors can be found at this festival through October 14 and October 15th.
6. Have a Spooky Movie Marathon
Love scary movies? Invite some friends over, grab some popcorn, and watch hours of horror or Halloween movies! You could just watch any random Halloween movies, but there’s also some great horror movie franchises to binge watch! You could host your own “Stabathon” and watch all of the 6 Scream movies, watch the horror classic Halloween franchise, or even the Saw franchise, since the new one, Saw X, has just came out!
7. Celebrate Halloween!
It’s spooky season for a reason. It’s because October is the month where the spectacular night takes place. Dress up in scary costumes or the costume of your favorite characters, host or go to a Halloween party, hand out candy to trick-or-treaters, or even go trick-or-treating yourself! You’re never too old to go trick-or-treating.
