For the first time since the pandemic hit, North Providence High School will be hosting a valued annual event: the Eighth Grade Open House.

It is set for November 18th, 2021, from 6pm to 8pm. Eighth graders and their families will hear a brief speech in the auditorium and then take a tour of the high school, led by student members of the National Honor Society.

Clubs and sports such as Science Olympiad, Newspaper, and Academic Decathlon will set up stations throughout the school. As the middle school students walk around, participants and teachers of the aforementioned organizations will have the opportunity to showcase their activities and recruit new members for the 2022-2023 school year.

It will be a crucial opportunity not only for eighth graders to familiarize themselves with a new environment but also for NPHS students to take the lead in guiding their younger peers.
