The Search for Brian Laundrie Continues

We’re asking you to turn yourself in to the FBI or the nearest law enforcement agency,” The Petito family attorney said.

Nearly two weeks after the remains of Ms. Petito were discovered and ruled a homicide in Wyoming’s Bridger-Teton National Forest, the search for her fiancé Brian Laundrie carries on.

The Petito family attorney says that Chris and Roberta Laundrie affirm that they do not know where their son is.  However, it is suspected by many that the Laundries assisted Brian in escaping law enforcement after the news of Gabby’s disappearance went public.  The Laundrie family attorney, however, attempted to shut down the conjecture this past Monday.  “The speculation by the public and some in the press that the parents assisted Brian in leaving the family home or in avoiding arrest on a warrant that was issued after Brian had already been missing for several days is just wrong,” stated Bertolino.

On Tuesday, September 28, Petito’s parents and stepparents announced the founding of the Gabby Petito Foundation.  They hope it will help keep alive her memory and help families in similar situations. Additionally, they also later revealed that they got matching tattoos reading, “Let it be,” in a script that Gabby had designed. “I wanted to have her with me all the time,” her mother, Nicole Schmidt, said.
