Richard Reviews: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Richard Cardente, Reporter

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is the newest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel and Kurt Russell among others.  It is 136 minutes long and rated PG-13.

When the Guardians’ ship crashes on a planet, Star-Lord meets his father for the first time.  Throughout this new bonding, Star-Lord finds out disturbing secrets about his father and a force that could ruin the universe.  Although the film is mainly about this relationship, there is plenty of action.  The acting is good, the production value and CGI is amazing mainly due to the incredible worlds and species in the film.  The actions scenes are also great and fun to watch.  Despite these praises, I think this film may be somewhat forgettable, but I would still recommend it. I give Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 3 out of 4 popcorn buckets.
