Things to Do This Spring Season!

Hunter Palazini, Reporter

The flowers are beginning to blossom, the grass is greener, and the birds are chirping!  Yup, it’s that time of the year again: Spring!  After months of Winter and snow storms we might have forgotten things to do for this type of weather. Here are some ideas!

  • First SPRING sports!  Many students have joined teams for our school such as lacrosse, baseball, softball, tennis, golf, and more!
  • If you aren’t apart of these teams and want to be involved then you should just watch the games!   You can sit in this newfound beautiful weather and watch a great game with concessions.
  • We all know the saying “April showers bring May flowers”.  On some of those rainy days anxiously waiting for the flowers you can binge watch TV shows or movies!  Netflix and Hulu have a wide variety!  (Comment if you want another list of what to watch on Netflix!).
  • Also, Rustic Tri View drive-in, in North Smithfield, has recently opened this April!  If you want to watch any of the newest movies you can pack a car full of friends and food for 25$ a load!
  • Looking for that summer body?  Or just want to be more active?  Well it is now that time of year to do so!  Get going on those New Year’s resolutions by going for a nice jog and observing the amazing weather! 🙂
  • Also, thanks to literacy day in spring, a group of students are going to be walking to McGuire school and reading to the children!
  • That time is almost upon us!  Fourth quarter just began and tons of students are already starting to prepare for summer.  Just remember fourth quarter grades matter, so don’t start slacking now. Study hard and pay attention in hopes for paradise to come soon enough.
  • Several ice cream and lemonade stands have recently reopened!  Are you craving the sweet sensation of cold, fudgy, messy, and sweet goodness? Then stop by one of the many options!
  • The popular Mr. Lemon opened in Providence last weekend. If you haven’t been, words cannot describe how amazing their lemonade is. You just have to try it for yourself!
  • Get your bunny ears out, because Easter is coming this weekend.  Get into the easter spirit by preparing your baskets, getting candy for family, and painting eggs.  Don’t forget to leave carrots for the bunny.
  • Finally, everyone is welcome to join the newspaper staff any time of year… 😀
