Captain America Civil War- Cap’s Side

Jacob Jorgensen, Entertainment Editor

With the upcoming movie Captain America: Civil War being released May 6th one question still needs to be answered. Who’s side do you align with. I will be providing what Captain America is fighting for against Iron Man.

The issue is the registration of super powered individuals.  A bill is being passed to have all people with super powers be on a list with their real name and address. Captain America is rightfully opposing this bill.  This can obviously be very dangerous for these people.  A list held in a data bank can be hacked or is vulnerable to corrupt politicians and workers for the government.  As the viewer saw in Captain America: Winter Soldier the  government has been infiltrated by Hydra before and is most likely still corrupt.  The families and loved ones of these people are in danger of super-villains that can get this information sold to them. This is not about the safety or privacy of the heroes, but rather their loved ones. What have Hawkeye’s kids ever done to be targeted by villains.  If these kids are killed or kidnapped it will be the fault of the registration of super humans.
