October 27, 2015
Saying goodbye is always a tough thing to do. On Friday the Lady Cougars soccer team had to say goodbye to their seniors at it was the last game of the season. The seniors as well had to say goodbye not only to their teammates, but to their coaches, field, and season. The Lady Cougars honored 6 seniors, goalkeeper Sainey Joof, Stephanie Lourenco, Dianna Baldomar, and captains Aliyah Colvin, Amber Russell and Alex Geisser. The Cougars were facing neighbor Johnston in heated battle of top Division III teams. The last match up was won by the Panthers in a close 1-0 win. This one was no different than the last as the game was the definition of a nail-biter. Unfortunately, Johnston came up on top 2-1 this time around. The Lady Cougars finished 4th in Division III A with a 9-4-3 league record. They now look ahead to the playoffs will they will face Rogers.
