Naeelah Desanges, Entertainment Editor
Naeelah Desanges was welcomed into the world in November of 2004. Since her arrival, she has had a knack for the arts. Naeelah sees herself as “a jack of some trades”. She has serious skill in visual arts, creating many beautiful pieces with pencils, paper, canvases, and paints galore. Her creative mind has made many amazing pieces that are pleasing to the eye. She is also musically inclined, being self-taught on the ukulele and currently working on the keys of a piano. Her musical talent dates back to 5th grade, choosing to steer away from the clarinet bandwagon and having Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On influence her choice in the flute. Naeelah also plays a role in many of the school’s extracurricular activities including being a part of TSA, the Cougar Courier, Youth Commission, and is even the vice president for the class of 2023.
Naeelah’s passions exceed the school’s walls as she is an activist for climate change. In between passionate rambling, Naeelah stated that “As an inclined writer, I feel like I can advocate and help with my art.” Naeelah’s passionate plans get bigger as she plans to go to college for Environmental Studies. She is also debating on studying Public Relations and Law. Naeelah’s mind is big and her heart is bigger. There is no limit to her incredibility. Look out world, Naeelah Desanges is coming through!!
