The North Providence Cougar Soccer team lost to the Master Regional Academy 3-0 on October 10.
The soccer team’s homecoming game did not end as well as the senior’s hoped, yet the entire team put up a valiant effort simply making minor mistakes that lost them the game. The offense and defense are still attempting to transition smoothly, but have been making progress in order to control the tempo of the matches. The loss of goalkeeper Matthew Ortiz and senior defender Edgar Sandoval, both due to injury, really played a key part in the loss.
The next game is away on October 15 against Scituate.
