Art is a way many people expressed themself. A painting with patches of color may have a deeper meaning to it than you think. For Lana Cunningham’s senior project, she created the art club last year due to fact she couldn’t fit art class into her schedule because she was a band student. You should be able to enjoy art no matter if you are a band student or not. The name of this club is the “Visual Arts Collective”.

The Visual Arts Collective aims to create a safe environment where members are encouraged to share their ideas and express themselves. Some of the activities that are done in the art club are listed below.

  • Creating group pieces of art for display
  • Work on projects of your own in a visual notebook
  • Setting up booths and participating in community events to raise money for the art department
  • Displaying, organizing, and selling student’s artwork for the Unified Art Show
  • Experimenting and creating all forms of art

Important information!

  • Meetings are on Wednesdays 2-3 pm
  • 2-3 spots are left!
