Perfection is very hard to come by – yet Sebastian Dziadkiewicz has managed to pull it off this year. With a perfect record of 34 wins to 0 losses, Senior Captain Dziadkiewicz took home the state championship in the 195-pound division. While it is his second year winning the state championship, it is his first year getting a perfect record (a first for North Providence Wrestling history as well). To win, he defeated opponent Marc Conte 7-1. The four senior captains placed in the state championships and North Providence High School placed ninth overall.
As a senior, Sebastian is going to miss his wrestling career very much. “It’s my home,” he said as he was referencing The Pit, the practice gym for the wrestling team. We hope him all the best in future endeavors.
