At 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 8th, the very first Open Mic Night took place in the NPHS cafeteria. The event was held by the a cappella group, The Treble Makers as a way to raise money for the club. On Thursday night, $3.00 granted each guest admission, coffee, and snacks.

Many students, faculty, and members of the community signed up to perform a song or piece for the event. Guests even got the chance to see teachers Mrs. Kelly and Mr. Rabbitt perform!  Various NPHS alumni, current students, teachers, and family members attended the event and enjoyed coffee, dessert, and live music.  The a cappella group hopes to have two more Open Mic Nights this school year. So if you hear about another Open Mic Night happening at NPHS, think about attending either to perform music, or listen to others while enjoying coffee and snacks in a care-free environment.
