During the month of October the Spanish I & II teacher Ms. Cimini, had planned out for her students to have a field trip in which they would observe the many different styles of Latin dancing. Most of the students who had attended the field trip were in their freshman or sophomore grade. Dances performed by the extremely talented dancers included the Salsa, Rumba, Mambo, Bachata, Tango and many more. Other performances included a talented violinist, fast pacing quick thinking bongo drummers. There was also music performed by three men demonstrating the different genres of music found in the Latin culture. At the near end of the show students in the audience were brought up to the stage to be taught the dances that were presented in the show. A few proud North Providence High School students went on the stage full of pride with gleeful smiles on their face along with Ms. Cimini. After the field trip when the students were brought to Burger King to end their trip with a lunch many students were discussing how entertaining and interesting the show was. Many students were extremely satisfied from the field trip Ms. Cimini had planned out for them, and most of the students would definitely do it all over again.
