Room B07 celebrated the new month with their annual May Breakfast!
Every year on May first, the students and teachers of B07 make and bring in breakfast foods to share with the teachers and faculty around the school.
Donuts, fruits, coffee and muffins, as well as much more food donated from the cafeteria and various bakeries around the area were served that morning until 11:00am.
There is a class called “Pathways” that takes place in B07 that only seniors are allowed to participate in where they spend time and work with the B07 students throughout the period.
Seniors Mikayla Tanguay and Sabrina Santana tells the Cougar Courier, “Pathways is so fun. It is my favorite class!”
This event is planned for months in advance and the kids look forward to it. They take the time to decorate the room to look nice. This year there was a big Spring theme with bright colored table cloths, big paper flowers on the walls, utensils wrapped and tied with ribbon, and rain boot centerpieces with candy.
The students invited their parents to come and join them as well. There was no fee to eat. Faculty such as Mr. Talbot, Ms. Kelly, and Ms. Bonner were all seen having a great time and a great meal.
